In June 2014, JAGO AG opened a new office in Berlin, which houses the new Online Marketing Europe department. This team has grown quickly, and as of January 2015 already employs over 20 colleagues from eight European countries, including the United Kingdom, France, Slovenia, Holland, Poland, Spain, Italy, and Germany, with further expansion planned.
This team is responsible for the international Online Shops being launched by JAGO AG, working with the traditional tools of the online marketer to develop successful sales channels, produce SEO primed sites, and drive a range of marketing techniques such as Price Comparison sites, Display Advertising, Affiliate Marketing, Retargeting, e-mail Marketing, Cross-Media marketing, and to develop a social media presence across the target countries.
The Online Marketing Europe team has spent the last few months developing country-specific online-marketing strategies, including a range of SEA campaigns for the six target countries, Price Comparison Portal strategies, SEO content and more, including a milestone KPI-Tracking model.
Looking to the future, the launch of the French, British, and Dutch shops will provide plenty of exciting new projects in the immediate future, and these shops will be the first to use the new Magento system being introduced as part of our IT overhaul. The team will be working on improving content, further developing our Google Adwords strategies, designing country-specific sales events, and much more.
